In middle school, that shiny certificate felt like a testament to my dedication as a student. But looking back, I realize that my perfect attendance had so much more to do with my circumstances. My parents were there to ensure I made it to school on time every day, providing the transportation and support I needed.
Not every student has the same privilege. Circumstances beyond their control can make attending school regularly a challenge. For many students, attending school isn’t just about showing up – it’s a daily battle against situations that can feel overwhelming. Whether it’s waking up early to catch multiple buses or worrying about where they’ll sleep at night, these challenges take a toll on a student’s ability to be present in the classroom.
Yet despite this, attendance remains a crucial factor in academic success and student achievement. That’s where technology solutions step in.
